About Me

I recall thinking I should have been a girl from about age 5 and have struggled with this duality for years. As far as sexuality goes, I feel trans-lesbian, but you never can tell how hormones affect you.

I don’t know if I will ever have SRS, but I will always want to spend time, expressing my femininity in an open and mature way. If I had the resources 30 years ago that I have today, my birth defect would be corrected, but the passage of time makes things more complicated, but not any easier to live with the wrong body.

I don’t have to be dressed up to feel comfortable – jeans and a T-shirt work, but it’s a lot more comfortable (mentally) if there are breasts under the shirt (even if they are silicone). I have always envied natural femininity – whether it’s a GG or someone like me. I see an attractive woman and I don’t want her – I want to be her! While I have been on hormones off and on over the past decade, I have never been on them long enough to make a real difference in terms of my body, but they seem to make be more mellow in terms of attitude (placebo effect?).

My spouse is aware of this side of me and had been before we were married. She thinks this side of me is what makes me more understanding and sensitive to her every need. I have been blessed in that she is supportive in all aspects, but, like me, knows that circumstances (family/job/community) make it difficult to take the steps I should take. We are exploring the possibility of me becoming more feminine through a serious hormone therapy and other options, but we are taking that one step at a time.
I would love to hear from any of you with similar experiences, whether or not you are pre, post, or non-op.

The more I can learn about the shared experiences, challenges, and joy will help me along my path. While girl is always flattered by a compliment, I&a
